2015 DeMarini Baseball Bats – Available for Pre-Order
The wait is over! DeMarini has finally launched their 2015 line of baseball bats and we have them available at homerunmonkey.com for pre-order! This lineup will include the CF7 and Voodoo Overlord FT for: Adult BBCOR, Senior League, Junior Big Barrel and Youth.
Not sure which is the best fit for you or the prospective player? Hopefully we can give you a better idea and some insight as which to choose.
The DeMarini CF7 baseball bat, with Paradox +Plus composite and D-Fusion FT handle, is DeMarini’s top-of-the-line for 2015; perfect for the serious player looking for an evenly balanced, light-swinging bat without losing any power or pop.
The Paradox +Plus composite makes up the entire barrel of the CF7. This material has been improved from last year’s top-of-the-line CF6 and is not only stronger, but lighter in weight. This speed and strength from the Paradox +Plus material provides an unmatched combination of faster swing speeds and maximum power – perfect for both contact and power hitters.
The D-Fusion FT handle is a compilation of a Paradox +Plus rod with a thermo-fused taper. This thermo-fused taper creates alley-ways to redirect vibration, generated at contact, away from the handle and back to the barrel. This not only eliminates the vibration in the hands, giving the hitter more confidence in the swing, but uses that redirected energy to make an exceptionally responsive barrel. The Flame Tempered treatment (the “FT” in D-Fusion FT) specially fuses the handle to the barrel, creating a 2-piece bat that has a stiffer feel with reduced vibration.
As DeMarini says, the CF7 bat is “Lightweight. HIGH Power. HIGH TECH.”
Voodoo Overlord FT
The DeMarini Voodoo Overlord FT, with X12 alloy and D-Fusion FT handle is perfect for a power hitter looking for a bat that focuses on additional power and pop.
The X12 alloy makes up the entire barrel of the Overlord FT. This material, specific and proprietary to DeMarini, is slightly end-loaded, extremely strong and durable – even at its thinnest points. The end-loaded weight distribution will provide a power advantage as the barrel carries through the zone. While the X12 alloy is strong enough to resist dings and dents that can accrue after extended use, while maintaining the pop and life from when it was first unwrapped.
The D-Fusion FT handle is a compilation of a Paradox +Plus rod with a thermo-fused taper. This thermo-fused taper creates alley-ways used to redirect vibration that is generated at contact, away from the handle and back to the barrel. This not only eliminates the vibration and sting in the hands, giving the hitter more confidence in the swing, but uses that redirected energy to make an exceptionally responsive barrel. The Flame Tempered treatment (the “FT” in D-Fusion FT) specially fuses the handle to the barrel, creating a 2-piece bat that has a stiffer feel with reduced vibration.
For DeMarini, the Voodoo Overlord FT bat is “Fueling a Fire for Power.”

The consensus between doctors, coaches and parents for youth baseball pitchers is to avoid throwing the curveball – so much to the point where Little League baseball has even considered banning breaking pitches during games. The thought behind the controversial pitch is that it is too strenuous on the young arm;…

One position that communicates the most among players on the team is the catcher. With the catcher standing behind home plate, he can see the entire team on the field and the entire team…

Over the past few years, there has been much talking and, well, complaining about the latest NCAA and NFHS bat certification deemed “Bat-Ball Coefficient of Restitution”, better known simply as “BBCOR”. Officially since 1/1/11, the BBCOR standard has been a requirement for bats used in NCAA regular season and tournament play; a change…
